Eligibility for Job Displacement

The voucher you receive for your supplemental job displacement can be used to pay for any educational or job training expenses, which can include school fees, books, and career counseling. For injuries that occurred after 2013, the supplemental job displacement voucher is worth $6,000 and is made available after the doctor assigned to your case issues a Physician’s Return-to-Work and Voucher Report.

In order to be eligible for a job displacement voucher, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have a permanent disability
  • You must be unable to return to your job
  • Your employer has not offered you at least 12 months of modified or alternative work
